 Adriana Lima Makes a "Special" Comeback to the Runway After 6-Year Break to Focus on Family.

 

Adriana Lima has returned to the runway.

On Thursday, Sept. 26, the Brazilian supermodel, 43, broke her 6-year hiatus from the catwalk to appear in Schiaparelli's womenswear spring/summer 2025 show at Paris Fashion Week.

“After taking a year off to raise my children, it was so fun being back on the runway today," Lima tells PEOPLE of her long-awaited return. "And coming back with my friends at Schiaparelli made it that more special!” 

Lima strutted the runway in a very '80s boss lady white striped white dress with corset detailing and the brand's signature oversize gold buttons. The look was teamed with a pair of oversize statement earrings and a chic top-handle bag. The model wore her hair slicked back, letting her famous cheekbones take center stage.

While this trade doesn’t exactly shine a positive light on the Raiders either, let’s focus on the Jets for now. They’re all-in, yet again, throwing more chips on the table with a bad hand.

There’s a world where this gamble pays off for the Jets—but it’s going to take a pretty wild story to believe it.

The Jets’ trade for Davante Adams doesn’t solve their bigger problems.

Adams essentially takes over for Mike Williams as the team’s No. 2 receiver, just months after the Jets signed Williams to a $10 million deal in their veteran spending spree. In a perfect scenario, Adams would be the All-Pro receiver Aaron Rodgers remembers from their Green Bay days. But the reality is, he’s a 32-year-old whose production has dipped significantly—from 1,516 yards and a 15.2-yard average in 2022 to 1,144 yards and 11.1 in 2023—and he’s joining a new team midseason.

By the time Adams gets comfortable in the Jets’ offense, if he ever does, it might already be too late.

Lions DE Aidan Hutchinson successfully undergoes surgery following a gruesome leg injury sustained in the win over the Cowboys.

 

The Detroit Lions were firing on all cylinders in their dominant 47-9 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, but the celebration was marred by what could be a devastating loss.

Defensive end Aidan Hutchinson, the Lions’ top defensive player and a frontrunner for NFL Defensive Player of the Year, suffered a serious injury while sacking Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott in the second half. As Hutchinson wrapped up Prescott, he grimaced in pain and stayed down on the field, prompting immediate concern. A cart was quickly brought out for him.

Replays revealed that Hutchinson's leg collided with a teammate as he spun around during the sack, leading to what appeared to be a severe leg injury. Players from both teams gathered around as Hutchinson was placed on a cart with an air cast secured on his injured left leg.
